EVENT PLANNING
Event planning is one of my favorite core skills! Since I graduated and began my career, I have planned more than 100 events across different industries and for a variety of different causes.
Engaging with folks online and in digital spaces is fun, but there's just something about putting an event together where people can connect and build genuine relationships in-real time that is simply the BEST (and most impactful) form of engagement!

From corporate fundraisers to week-long event series, I've had some pretty incredible opportunities to build the PERFECT recipe for success when it comes to event planning and management.

Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle Young Professionals: Join Week (2024)

The purpose of Join Week is for YP chapters across the country to conduct a variety of local events and activities during the first week of February that invite community members to learn more about the Young Professionals movement, share opportunities for involvement with our local chapter, and recruit new members to join the YPs!
22nd Annual Breakfast: Era of Essential Service feat. Trevor Noah (2023)
The annual breakfast is the Seattle Urban League's signature fundraiser used to highlight the organizations yearly impact and celebrate community change-makers who share in the Urban League's mission of equity for all. The 2023 event included a special emphasis on honoring Black women in the community.
